Dr. (Mrs.) Bindu S. Ronald is a Professor in Symbiosis Law School, at Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She joined the institution in 2007. She holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Laws from Mumbai University and recipient of the Gold medal in LL.M from University of Pune
Prof. Ronald has 15 years of teaching experience. Prior to joining Symbiosis Law School, Pune she has taught in West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (NUJS) from 2001- 2007. She is an Erasmus Mundus Scholar and has taught at the Department of German, European and International and Commercial Law Section at Leibniz Universitat, Hannover, Germany during her visit to the University under the Erasmus Mundus Research Grant in 2011.
She teaches Corporate Laws, Corporate Governance, Competition Law and International Trade Law in Post Graduate and Under Graduate programmes. Besides guiding LL.M students in their dissertation thesis, she is also a guide for Ph.D students at Symbiosis International University. She has undertaken funded projects for UNDP and Tea Board of India in addition to certain corporate houses. She was also on the advisory of Tea Board of India. During her teaching career she has held various positions such as Convener of School of Economic and Business Laws, NUJS; In-Charge Examination Department , NUJS; Faculty-In-Charge Student Juridical Association, NUJS; Member, Library Committee, NUJS; In-Charge LL.M Programme SLS, P; Head, Centre for Corporate Laws; Faculty-In-Charge LawEcon Cell, SLS,P; Member, Board of Studies , SLS,P; Member, Library Committee, SLS Pune ; Member of Academic Council, SIU; Member Secretary IQAC, SIU; Member, Board of Examination, SIU; Member, Women’s Cell, SIU, Symbiosis International University (SIU); Member Curriculum Review Committee, SIU; Member Committee of Experts for Drafting Recruitment Rules, MNLU, Mumbai. She has many publications to her credit.
Dr. Bindu Ronald has participated in a number of Conferences, Seminars and Workshops at the National and International level and has been to UK, Germany, Sweden, Singapore and Vietnam as part of academic initiatives.
